TOP 10 SELF CARE TIPS
If you're like most people, you're probably stressed out all the time. And
that's not good for you—it can make your moods erratic and even make you feel
depressed. Probably everybody is busy being nice to others & thinks
themselves as selfish when it comes to self-love and self-care. In today's high
end desires people usually forgets to show some kindness & compassion to
themselves. When it comes to self-care there are relentless benefits. From
boosting your immune system, making you feel good inside & out and to being
healthy mentally & physically. Self-care is a crucial part of being in good
health—and it doesn't need to take long or be complicated. So here are few
quick tips that can uplift your mood just like that:
1. Take a Good Hot Shower:
It's relaxing, and it helps you focus on the present moment. It will not only cleanse your outer aura but will also give you a good feeling about yourself.
2. Go for a walk!
Just walking around can make you feel better physically
and mentally, because it gives your mind a break from thinking about work or
school. You can catch up with your friends while walking around. Just saying ;)
3. Eat healthy foods:
You'll feel more energized and less stressed out when you eat well (and don't eat too much). By eating healthy we mean balanced home cooked food. If you eat well-balanced meals with plenty of fruits and vegetables and whole grains, then you'll be less likely to feel depressed or anxious because your body will be getting all the nutrients it needs! So try eating more fruits and vegetables, even if they don't taste great at first (they'll become sweeter as they cook). Also try eating smaller portions—you'll feel less hungry then.
4. Get enough sleep each night:
Work & stress are most common thing when
it comes to being ambitious & successful. Taking good sleep will help your
body recover from all the stressors of day-to-day life, which makes you feel
better during the day!
5. Drink a lot of water:
Yup that's what I mean. On an average 4 litters of
water per day per person is mandatory. Water is the most essential element for
human body & will keeps you away from major health problems.
6. Try something new:
Whether it's cooking something new or trying out a new
color scheme in your home, try something different today that will make you
feel amazing!
7. Get fresh air:
When you're feeling down, it helps to get out of the house
and take a walk in the park or by the beach or just go on a drive outside. Just
make sure you have enough money in your pocket so that you won't end up
spending more than $20 on snacks (and remember: no smoking!).Go on a hike with
friends or go for a run outside by yourself—just getting some fresh air can
make all the difference in how well you're feeling!
8. Take care of yourself first:
Self-care doesn't just mean taking care of
yourself physically but it also includes mental care. Things that bothers – if
you can change it “GOOD”, but if not then best solution is to just “IGNORE”.
9. Do something you love:
Like reading or drawing or playing an
instrument—whatever makes you happy! Listen to your favorite music while you
work on your laptop or surf the web—it'll make the time pass faster! Or just
watch an episode with your friends and family—it'll bring everyone closer
together! You decide!
10. Exercise every day:
Even if it's just 10 minutes on the elliptical
machine at the gym (or if it's just walking around your neighborhood). And
never skip breakfast! You'll feel so much better for it!
11. Try some deep breathing techniques for stress relief:
Take a few deep
breaths and imagine filling your lungs with clean air as you breathe out slowly
through your nose and mouth, then slowly let the air out through your nose and
mouth again, like blowing out a candle in reverse. This can be done while
sitting or standing up, or any time during the day when things get stressful or
overwhelming—if you find yourself getting frustrated with something or someone,
try taking a few of these deep breaths while counting to three before getting
back into it again (one… two… three!). It will help you calm down.
12. Keep a journal:
Writing down your thoughts helps you process them and get
things out of your head so that they don't weigh so heavily on you later on
down the line. Also will keep you & your thoughts active. Trust me you will
definitely feel better & most importantly it will help you understand
yourself better.
